In the middle of writing about how to get your home ready for our snowy winters, we learned that late October and November are the perfect months to be planting new trees and shrubs. We did a little more digging and found some excellent places to get your trees and shrubs either locally or for dirt cheap on the internet. I’m sure you all noticed the first snow of the season on the ground today and I’m even more sure all the kids in the neighborhood are quite excited. But for all you new homeowners out there, you’re probably have a few questions on what you need to do. How do you prepare your home? What can you do to help your yard come spring? Are there any details you’re missing?

As we’re getting this website up and off the ground, one thing we need help with is creating sections and content that people in our community will be interested in and can benefit from.  We’re doing our best, but could use help with anything and everything you can think of to write.  Brainstorm, jot things down, do some research or even pull up old research you’ve already done on home projects.  Write it all down and send it to us at articles@reunion-colorado.com.  We’ll get back to you with any suggestions and/or get it posted on the site!
